InfrastructureWater

The project upgrades and rehabilitates the Al-Shraiaa Spring Water Treatment Plant to enhance operational performance, ensure water safety and compliance with drinking water standards, and reduce non-revenue water. It is funded by the U.S. Government under the Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Project, FARA Phase IV, for Jordan Water Company – Miyahuna.

Arab Dar Engineering Company provides comprehensive engineering and technical supervision of the works.

  • Electromagnetic flow meters and air compressors.
  • Integrated treatment and disinfection systems: gas chlorination, a chlorine scrubber unit and an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection facility.
  • Civil and structural works, including an underground air-conditioned UV chamber, stormwater drainage and site landscaping.
  • Modernization of the plant-wide PLC/SCADA control system, integrated with the regional monitoring hubs in Balqa and Amman.
